Australian Experience 2.
Visiting Oriel Gallery.
September 04

Noosa Online Gallery. Noosa .
September 2004 - 2005

In the heart of Ascot, within reach of Brisbane, Oriel Gallery owners the Middletons agreed to exhibit several of my paintings. The introduction was provided by an Australian painter, Sarah Larsen, we exhibited together at the Biennale in Florence. The Oriel Gallery was a wonderful Old Queenslander building in a leafy suburb; a perfect setting. I met many painting and exhibiting Australian Artists from Cairns to Sydney, visited many galleries and exhibitions and discovered a whole new world of creative inspiration and art on this continent.

Art of underground caves.

This substantial art appreciating and practicing community were painters, photographers, sculptors, craft-artists, ceramicists, embroiders, print makers.; all a pleasure to meet and all unique.

Seven weeks and many hours exploring galleries, learning, developing a critical and creative eye - a great holiday and learning experience. I discovered a wonderful country, an opportunity to meet like minded artists and art lovers and experienced a bit of what exhibiting in Australia had to offer. Extremely worthwhile and an experience to remember.
